  • Directed a nine member team of consultants and client's staff in developing the architecture for the Immigration & Naturalization Service's enterprise wide n-tiered client server finger printing system. Project direct budget exceeded $1.5M. Personally responsible for eliminating $3M in waste.
  • Directed a team designing a corporate Internet/intranet/extranet for Clark Hill, LLP. The system improved utilization of resources across the five regional offices.
  • Designed and developed web based business to business system for Chicago Rawhide Serves to allow vendors directly manage inventory and order fulfillment to reduce inefficiency.
  • Served as subject matter expert on business management to BrainBench.com, authoring the on-line exam for certification in general business management.
  • Designed and developed KempFlex Internet/intranet application for Scudder/Kemper Mutual Funds, providing customers access to their plan data, lowered maintenance costs, and improved user interface over the existing internal mainframe application.
  • Established and wrote the corporate policy on Visual Basic & ASP Development for Alliance Food Services. Created standards for programming, training, installation and usage. All the documentation was published on the corporate intranet.
  • Appointed acting CEO by founder of Innovative Devices, a specialty electronics company, to develop international marketing strategies and new products for the mass market.

Contracted by CIO to lead team in creating the MS-Windows version of ClaimStar, which was the leading Electronic Data Interchange software for medical billing at the time. I expanded the project to allow the company to sell data analysis services in addition to the original software. The improved design reduced maintenance costs and provided two additional revenue sources.

Served as architect of the entire system including a specialized scripting language & compiler, Visual Basic front end & C++ back end with a distributed SQL client server architecture.
